i think this is the best season i've seen of survivor. it has a great love story, touching story, and most of all it made me cried the most.

at the begining tom said the game is for the big boys ;)... at the end ... at the final tribal council... he proved that he is not a big boy ...rob mariano is !

And btw, amber wasnt actually asked for the show, neither was shi-ann, neither was alicia, and jenna wasnt asked as well, dont forget a bunch of these players got on, because sandra coudnt do it, heidlik wasnt their, nor was vecepia or fairplay, and the last person heidi wasnt asked she couldnt, so they were just filling in the spaces pretty much

i dont think it was that much of a mess, but it doesnt even come close in comparison to fans vs favs or heroes vs villains, three tribes in all-stars just doesnt work

i mean, think about it..the whole point of them not speaking to each other until they hit the beach was part of the notion that you form relationships strictly WITHIN the game. Otherwise, the whole point of the game is shot from the outset; they knew each other, knew the game, and knew how the others played the game. just a set up for disaster. not a pure game at all.

this season was dramatic to watch at times. but as a pure Survivor game, it was an absolute mess. people who already know each other, and have seen each other play, and have also survived the game before, so know what to expect...ruins the whole premise of the game.

I remember Jeff Probst saying, after this season, what a mistake it was to have returning players. It was awful and didn't work well. He really hated this season at the time. Too bad he didn't stick with his moment of clarity.

Just seeing these people again made me so happy. I didn't like Jerri in season two, but I realize that she wasn't that bad. Annoying, but not that bad. Also...Rupert! Rudy! Richard! Tom! Rob and Rob! Alicia! Ethan! Colby! Jerri! This is gonna be a great season.

@DanceFavorites88 I think the survivor producers wanted somebody on the show who would just fade into the background, perhaps as a type of experiment. Well, they got their answer. She rode on somebody's cotails the entire game and ended up going home with the money.
