How to get Yorkies to like snow

My yorkie loves the snow.:) she doesn't wear booties. Only a jacket. She's a miniature. :)

Thanks! I just arrived in Michigan from Brazil with my Yorkie and we've never seen snow before... so I'm worried about Nessie (the yorkie) to play on it.

@flavuabgs, The ones I like best are relatively light wool or fleece coats that go on easily and cover their entire backs. Bulkier coats restrict their movement, and that's what really warms them up. The green one on my little one was purchased at Petco and called Aussie Naturals. I believe the Petco version was patterned off a coat a friend from New Zealand sent me. It's wool, easy to put on and durable. Made by Country Rover.

@flavuabgs, oops, I may have mistakenly flagged one of your posts as spam, sorry! I was trying to reply. Anyway, I removed the spaces and couldn't get that url to work :( I'm not sure of her size. I bought the smallest I can find, and it's actually a little big on her. She weighs 4.5 pounds.

"I love their shadows" - that was hilarious, I say the exact same thing when I walk my Yorkie mix. I think Yorkies have the best shadow profiles I've ever seen. Don't say that when you're walking with a friend who owns a different breed, though. They won't see logic.

@alaskayorkie Awsome! We live in Western NY near Buffalo, so we get a lot of lake effect snow, I just want to keep him warm and happy! Thank you!!!
