  • This is a real classic when Sesame Street was worth watching.

Every since Elmo's World, its spiraled down the drain.

    Old Sesame Street FTW.

  • When I was a kid, the beginning used to make me laugh when CM was throwing down on those darn cookies. And you know what I found out today? It still does. I am glad it stopped when it did. My breathing was beginning to be affected by my laughter.

  • As much as I love and cherish the memories that Sesame Street gave me as a child, for us to say that Elmo has corrupted the show is downright selfish. Elmo is incredibly popular with today's kids, and is geared to appeal to THEM, not us (while containing some excellent parody, Sesame Street ultimately a children's program). If kids like and learn from Elmo, that's the most important thing. I DO miss Monsterpiece Theater and all the old late 80's/early 90's content, though.

  • Who perform a cuckoo bird?

  • Whose Perform the 2 Pigs?

  • Whose Perform the 3 Chickens?

  • God, how I loved Sesame Street as a kid, even though I never understood any of the references that Monsterpiece Theater made.

Now, though, I can't help but think that "Four Flew Over the Pigsty and Landed in the Mud" would work great as a comically super-depressing parody of the ending of the actual movie. :P

  • These are absolutely hilarious. Oh my god, make my night why don't you!

  • @matthatter56 Every time dude....every time *pulls out hankie*

  • @AviloriANo1 What you mean you don't like CGI Bert and Ernie. CGI is so much more awesome then actual puppets. Wait what this isn't opposite day? Oh *backs away slowly*. Lol

Seriously I agree old school Sesame Street is the best. My heart broke when I saw Bert and Ernie CGI. Also every time I see Elmo's World my childhood dies a little.

  • Rocky 20.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

    "Story of Rocks...."

  • That's how I would describe the actual movie, "very beautiful, very moving, very silly." Thank you Jack Nicholson and thank you Will Sampson.
