0-60 tesla in medium, not performance mode. So should be 4.1 seconds, not 3.7

  • @Gasoline500. We had the car for a test drive so we wanted to see if the claims were true.

  • I think it was closer to 6 seconds. Mind you there were 2 people in the car and the targa top was off and we were not in performance mode and the energy in the car was low. I think all those contributed. I'm sure the 4.1 is under ideal conditions.

  • why the hell are you testing it in medium mode?.. thats like taking a prius to the strip..

  • that was definitely at least five seconds.. you started around 0:05 and 60 was around 0:12

  • @s2000raj then why would you run a test when you have all of those contributing factors?!?!

  • @LexLoother It is not new technology. The AC induction motor has been in use for almost 100 years now and electric cars where in use in the late 1800's. The new technology is the batteries used.

  • About 6 seconds?

  • @LexLoother

yes you are right in a part ^^

Because you forgot to speak about the time for that

For teh TV for example the 1st models arrived in the end of 1940's and in 1950's

But the middle-class peoples (like me) could to buy it in the 1960's or even in the 1970's sometimes !

it will be the same thing for this m very expensive technology' in this electric sport car

And sorry but 20 or 30 years to wait for me who have 42 years old now it is very, it is too, long ^^

  • @cumbas

I think you fail to see the big picture. It's takes money to develop new technologies. Rich people help technology get affordable by buying the expensive early models that help develop future, and eventually cheaper models. TV for example, some are in 3D, and they are expensive, but in a few years, you'll get a cheaper 3D TV that doesnt even require glasses. Same happened to micro-wave ovens, they were very expensive and now you get them for 50$ CD, DVD, Blue-ray players, etc...

  • nice to see an electric car so powerfull and fast like this

    0-60mph (0-100km/h) in 4s only waooo!!!

and 2 gears only until 200km/h max, it is incredible lol

and all that in... silence lol

But the BIG problem is its price...

    So much more expensive car...

so this funny electric sport car and ecologic also is not made for a normal and middle-class citizens (so for the bigger part i of the people in the modern countries...) but only for few of richmen...

    shit for that...
