My first thought was that Professor Scott was going to review and comment on (old) "Gishs' " arguments. I was surprised, but not disappointed!

alas, Alan "Gish" Gishlick's nickname has long been a source of humorous confusion, in regards to creationist Duane Gish. :) Our Gish notes he has used the nickname since childhood.

What rot!
We all know the Grand Canyon was formed in 5 minutes as the flood waters subsided!

Whoaaa, I thought it was going to be Duane Gish discussing geology with Eugenie Scott... That would've been hilarious.

i love that period when the earths atmosphere had so much oxygen, because insects, including my favorite insect the dragonfly, could grow much larger. If i ever get rich, i will get a nice fossil of a 30cm or larger wingspan dragonfly. i have beautiful images of an 11cm wingspan dragonfly sitting on my hand, that was an amazing experience, the largest possible dragonfly in europe on my hand. I was able to take many photos, and uploaded the best ones to wikimedia commons.

Exactly, at 3 times the speed of sound. It's common knowledge (on YouTube, anyway!)
