While this ending would have been disappointing, it would have been true to life. Part of me still doesn't trust Big.

they only filmed the alternate endings so the extras wouldn't blab. they filmed everything else in the episode the same way, so they clearly knew what the ending would be.

@frankeerazor: I totally agree with you my friend. Season 5 was only 5 episodes, but season 6 was perfect! If only they had continued. The 2 movies didn't reach the level of the series but I still hope they will do one more sequel. Shame they ended it in season 6 (same thing happened in 24; they ended it in season 8 and now kiefer sutherland does nothing). I loved loved loved SEATC!!!

I am going to make a confession,I'd totally take them back if they decided to do 6 more seasons.I would forgive them for ruining my life & my relationship by ending the show prematurely. I would act like it never happend and I would warmly welcome these women back into my life and my television. The show was/is/will always be genius and is sincerely missed by me. I know i sound crazed but aren't we all a little. Or atleast I'm hoping someone in the world can validate my craziness with a reply

and yes this would have been the worst ending...because it wouldn't have given the chance for a movie!
