Chick Corea playing Confirmation on drums! Michael Brecker on Saxophone.

This was recorded during the "Three Quartets" sessions but not released until it came out on cd. According to several interviews by Steve Gadd, Chick was a major drumming influence on him and Chick was in turn majorly influenced by the late great Tony Williams. This came about because Steve showed up late to a rehearsal to find Chick playing drums.

Corea plays drums on "Confirmation" instead of Steve Gadd." This has long been discussed in Modern Drummer Magazine and Drum Magazine and as a matter of fact, Steve Gadd plays nothing like this at all.
