  • Mine was an Arsenal build.

  • @FuckGunControl0331 Thanks, I'll check em out. :)

  • @gymkhanadog I don't have any one place that I order from and I don't use just one brand. But these 2 websites do pretty well to organize a lot of the ammo prices on the web. Try ammoengine and ammoseek. Just add the dot com.

  • @FuckGunControl0331 Where do you order your ammo, out of personal curiosity? Always looking for new ammo sources that might include reloadable brass. Reloadable 7.62x54 tends to be spendy.

  • @gymkhanadog There's plenty of good ammo out there for the Mosin that can be had for under $0.20/round. It adds up once you start talking about hundreds or thousands of rounds.

  • @gymkhanadog Yea, I was talking about buying in bulk. You save a ton by buying in bulk. No way would I pay $0.40/round for 7.62x54R.

  • @FuckGunControl0331 My bad, I found a source that's $6 for 20 rounds. The other commenter really didn't get 'hosed' on the deal given the small price difference.

  • @FuckGunControl0331 Not sure where you get cheaper ammo, but 20 rounds right now from any source is between $11 and $20 for 20 rounds. Unless you get bulk, which is moderately cheaper. $140 for 880 rounds of 148gr 70's/80's Russian surplus. 0.15 per round, you can't beat that versus 0.55 per round for the 20 round box.

  • Well best deal I found in surplus at the time the commercial was $35 for 20

  • @cr76802 If you paid $8 for 20 rounds of 7.62x54R, then you got hosed.
