Joe gulped. "I...uh..would you like to dance?"
She shrugged. "No. I have to go,anyway."
"Me too. I suppose this is our last meeting."
"Yeah..well.."
"It was fun..." He flashed his genuine smile. "..and surreal, I guess."
"Surreal,indeed."
"Can I get your phone number?"
"I don't think that's such a good idea. We were just playing with ourselves and we have to forget that all of these ever happened. It's over. Is that a deal, Mr. Jonas?"
"I think so."
"Fine. I hope to hear from you on radio stations soon." With that, she left as Joe watch her escape from the bar. Her words echoed in his mind. 'It's over'. Minutes later, Nick showed up.
"Joe. Kevin called and he's fuming. He said he stopped over at Starbucks and we weren't there. What do we do?"
"Nick, it isn't like there's only one Starbucks here in L.A. How can you both be stupid?"
"Well, at least we did not watch a woman walk away from us." Nick shot back.
"Let's forget that this ever happened. I never met her,okay?"
"Do I get a new set of socks for that?"
"You know, you're creeping me out but yeah...new socks that is." Joe waved him off and Nick followed him to the car.

After almost 2 weeks, Joe opened his eyes and saw a blonde with blue eyes staring back at him. "Hey Joe." She smiled.
He stirred. "Taylor?"
"I guess?"
He jumped out of the bed and hugged her. "God, I've missed you so much."
"I know and I feel the same." She hugged back and pulled away as Joe kissed her. "Hun, you haven't brushed your teeth this morning."
"Oh, I almost forgot. Anyway, did I mention to you that our tour was cancelled?"
"You did last night."
"So...I was thinking that maybe we can have a vacation together at the Bahamas."
"I do have a townhouse there and as a matter of fact, my bestfriend and I are spending a month there."
He pouted. "Leaving me for her?"
"I don't have to. Your brothers and you can come along, I guess. Besides, their presence will control rumors about us."
"I guess but are you sure we won't be a fuss for a girly-girly time for the both of you?"
"No, definitely not. I've been dying to introduce you two to each other because you're the most important people on my life as of the moment." She smiled.
"Aww. That's really sweet, Tay."
"Yeah...so, are you going? We're leaving in an hour."
"What? Why didn't you say so? That hour will be just for my hair! I gotta pile things up,now. Do you mind telling my brothers about the trip?"
"They don't know anything about this? Are you sure they'll agree?"
"The word 'Bahamas' will push them to do this, trust me."

At the airport,Nick was eating SweeTarts, Kevin was sipping coffee and Joe was admiring his hair through his glasses as Taylor waited for her best friend.
"Ugh. What's taking her so long?"
"Are you sure she's coming? We've been waiting for so long, hun." Joe looked at her through his glasses again.
"We've been here for like 5 minutes, Joe." Taylor eyed him. "Bahamas can wait. I haven't seen her for months. I heard she's been a wreck after I left her right after her heart was broken. I have to make up for the time we've been separated."
"I thought Abby was your best friend."
"She is but this girl is the best best friend."
"Okay then...how old is she anyways?"
"She's about Nick's age,I guess."
Nick stirred. "Is she pretty? I'm single, you know."
"Where was I when you had the interest in girls? I kinda missed that." Taylor asked him.
"Since Joe brought me to this certain bar and we saw a certain girl who--"
Joe immediately stepped on Nick's foot. "Nick, did you mean Kevin? I don't remember a thing about going to a bar with you." He glared at him.
Nick gulped and Kevin had the evil smirk on his face. "I guess I was with Kevin then."
"You guys are weird." Taylor declared as she spotted her best friend approaching them.
"Hey!"
"Taylor!" She hugged Taylor. "I've missed you so much."
"Same here. By the way, The Jonas Brothers came along with us." Taylor winked.
Meanwhile, the three brothers were arguing by themselves as the girls hugged each other.
"You can't tell her I hooked up with Selena." Joe whispered.
"I can't lie to her either." Nick shot back.
Kevin gulped as she saw the girls approaching. "Guys, I mean Joseph...you are in an extremely big trouble."
"What?" Joe asked;annoyed as he looked over at the direction Kevin was pointing. Joe saw Taylor hand-in-hand with a familiar face and as he studied her closely, the ugly truth hit him. It was Selena with her hair on her shoulders and her face so fresh without make-up. She definitely made him numb for the next minutes. With her staring back at him, Joe thought of the saying that love is sweeter the second time around.
