@MrBenjamin199. I agree 100% with your comment, in the PAST TENSE, of BBC out put. I indulged myself recently and bought DVDs of "HI_DE_HI", "THE LIKELY LADS", and am looking out for others of that ilk. It was quite interesting that the DVDs carried warnings that some of the dialogue may up some people. The feminists and other weardies at the BBC no dought, who think that foul language is the height of humour.
@bbcisrubbish Tree of Life, Midnight in Paris, 50/50, Hugo, and countless others would disagree with that statement. I love older movies to death, but good cinema is still being made today. You just have to look for it.
@orson12. I agree. And I like the OLD American films when there was a story, good actors and actresses, lots of good characters portrayed by the likes of Humphry Bogart. Now what are they? Car chases, car crashes, brilliant orange explosions, loud mouth terrible so called actors.

@bbcisrubbish - This *is* an American film. It was made in Hollywood!

Why can't UK television companies repeat some of these super British films instead of the endless American trash?
"American comedy". Isn't that an oxymoron.

There are some brilliant facial expressions pulled there! True exasperation!
