I'm paying SO MUCH interest on my student loans that since 2008 the principle has barely budged. (They're already consolidated.) I'm paying $2,160. per year, but the balance has only gone down $600. in almost 4 years! Can you post a vid to help with this kind of problem?

Deferment and forbearance only delays the evitable and it adds interest to the principal. Teaching at low income schools is a difficult job. The students these days are disrespectful to teachers and mostly not interested in learning.

Going to college is not worth creating debt with an unmerciful government. Sometimes, health issues and certain mental and physical disabilities will suddenly prevent a person from making enough money to barely survive on, but the government will still take their money. You can not take bankruptcy! You are trapped permenantly. There is no mercy! No forgiveness of debt. Don't be fooled!!! A job is not promised at the end of your education. Education doesn't always equal prosperity.

Did your high school counselor tell you that you CANNOT declare bankruptcy on a student loan. Some types of debt, like student loans and child support, don't require a judgment for collection. Read "Generation Debt" by Anya Kamenetz. Even Charles Morris has a few choice things to say about Sallie Mae in "Trillion Dollar Meltdown".
