  • @tsdiokno2 cut away the christian backdrop and youve got the very thing i (and just about every atheist with me) am doing

  • @666valhalonia666 Just be sure you are not "turning your ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths." (2 Tim 4:4) "Test everything. Hold on to the good." (1 Thess 5:21) and let us not be like "A simple man that believes anything, but a prudent man that gives thought to his steps." (Prov 14:15) for "we did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty." (2 Peter 1:16). I rest my case :-)

  • @tsdiokno2 my point is that doesnt matter if it did or didnt happen, it's about whether or not it happend exactly as it says in the bible. there are many ways in wich someone can appear did for example (especially to some bronze age sheep herders) without actually being dead. so jesus may very well have been buried without being dead and gotten up somewhere in the 3 days he was in his tomb. moving the rock is also less of a problem then it might seem, thanks to concepts like leverage.

  • @tsdiokno2 oh no, not the age old " do you really wanna take a chance??!!?!?!?!1!1!!!!EINZE?" yes i really want to take a chance over believing in the garbage you call a religion. why would i do that? because of idiots like you, who try to convince the world there is some skydaddy looking down on all of us. but guess what; theres not, no matter what hoops you jump through. ohyeah dont call me friend. all my friends are sane, you are not.

  • @666valhalonia666 And you can't be sure that they didn't happen. we both weren't there. but here the catch, my friend. after we die, that's we'll find out who's right.

if there's no afterlife and no god after I die, i don't lose anything. it's not like i'll have the consciousness to regret it. but what if there really is a god and there is an afterlife? it's your choice.

  • @tsdiokno2 what does it matter if it is based on historical events? it doesn' t prove jesus could ressurect for example. by thr same token, it doesn' t prove anything else in the bible either. besides, you can' t really be sure the events happend as said in the bible, as records from that era are skimpy and unreliable at best.

then the talmud and the qu' ran: both books were written several 100 years before and after the bible and are as delusional. so whats your point?

  • @666valhalonia666: biblical texts... do they not have some historical validity? What if the Gospels, The Pauline Epistels, and the General Epistles were really records of genuine historical events? Next, when we say "non christian", it means, literature whose writer comes from a non-christian stance - it doesn't necessarily mean non-relegious... in that light I'd like you to check out the Jewish talmud and the Islamic Qur'an for appearances of Jesus Christ ;-)

  • @crazyactor06 you will pastor

  • This is one of my favorite songs. I've been looking all over youtube for someone singing it in that old church way....

  • I love church people...we do not know when to let a song end...that's one of the best parts!
