@chuckmekere Any car will last as long as you take care of it like you should, contrary to what fan boys like you believe. My dad has a 2000 Durango that has near 300k on the odo, had coolant boiled out of it twice and it doesn't so much as burn oil right now. Same story for our 99 Silverado with 280k on it.

As far as being faster? That depends on the mods. If you look at the fastest Skyline and the fastest say, Corvette or VIper, Skylines are outgunned.

yeah sure its still going strong, after expensive overhauls every 6 years :)

compare that to my BPU R33 Skyline GT-R which has lasted 15 years before the first major repair, a water pump and a timing belt (I did them ahead of time though, so more of MAINTENANCE items, and I did them MYSELF)
