Why doesn't the USA replace the 12 regional federal reserve banks and the central federal reserve banks with federal credit unions? The lower cost of the loans would save The tax payers money. Only Americans could be depositors. It should be full auditable. Then No one would profit from the debit caused by wars. In case you didn't know the federal reserve bank is a privately owned bank. That has never been fully audited

been a credit union member for 10 years, never one problem. Got my first auto loan through them in 08 for 8% for a first time buyer with ok credit, try that at a bank

Been a member at a full-service credit union for over a year now. I love it. I can make deposits, get share certificates (instead of "CDs"), keep a checking account, withdraw money at any non-CU ATM and get the fees waived and have a no-fee, no-foreign currency fee credit card! I still keep my "big bank" account around in case its convenient in the future, but they will not be getting too much business from me!

As I keep hearing about ever increasing fees with all the major banks, I expect thousands more Americans to flock towards Credit Unions and yet the banks keep trying to persuade congress to shut down the CU's or at least reduce them. Good luck suckers! Your not getting anymore of my money and Chase is probably the worst of them all!!
