I recently had Burping103 hack into my account, delete all my videos and enter rude and dispicible comments and descriptions onto my YouTube profile. But he forgott that I store the videos I upload onto YouTube onto my PC also... So i'm lucky I guess! This is a video explaining through a brief slideshow what battery / egg farming is all about, what its like behind them closed doors... Enjoy!

  • Do it! Its so rewarding !

If you have other hens already, it will be fun and games but once settled and they all know who is boss, they will get along fine!

  • You are so right.

Battery hens are rewarding, they lay fresh eggs daily and, of course, it's a great feeling to know that they're free from that harsh environment they once called home. Tell me, do you have and hens at home? :)

  • i'm getting ex battery hens because they have had a shit life and i want to give them a better one

  • Nice choice!

You will definitely enjoy having them around, especially when they are laying you fresh sparkling eggs 24/7! It's also a great feeling knowing you have free'd them from an abusive environment!

  • omg! I SUPPORT THE BATTERY HENS!!!! till i got my own hens i never really thought about chickens but they have sooo much character. I really love them, especially the head hen she is only roughly ankle hight but beats up my dad lol!

  • Sorry for replying six months late xD

Yes, hens are really adorable and are great fun to watch them scratching around, and the taste of the fresh eggs in the morning are quite overwhelming! Oh, and tell your dad he got what he deserved! He should know by now he needs the ladies permission before eating their scrumptious eggs!

  • Imprisoning hens in cages is disgusting

  • I just saved to BH this past spring, Wish i could have saved more...

  • @ChickenWings103

Yes, we have 7 in total, 2 of which were from the BHWT who now rule my flock!

Just going through introducing 2 new ones, and bats are giving them a bit of a hard time but they will settle in.

The ex bats love it here, they have perfect free ranging areas of my garden and get so many worms and bugs, they have regular dust baths and its so rewarding to watch them and then think back to where they came from....
