@nashertheatheist I still don't understand what you're trying to prove. It takes COURAGE to talk about the faults of the modern world when you live in luxury. That's a sign of nobility. @nashertheatheist So you're using a a rough comparison of life expectancy stats to prove that life is good now? I didn't know length of life had anything to do with its quality. Of course, enlightened individuals such as yourself-- that's all you care about. The philosopher's stone of alchemy. I am one of those "fortunate" to live with comfort and luxury, but that doesn't mean that Western society is satisfactory. Furthermore, the rest of the world suffers at our expense.
