This is a film clip from the movie The Runaways where Kristen Stewart's character Joan meets Dakota Fanning's character Cherie meet.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning star in this music-fueled story of the ground-breaking, all girl, teenage rock band of the 1970s: The Runaways. The film follows two friends, Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, as they rise from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars of the now legendary group that paved the way for future generations of girl bands. Joan and Cherie fall under the Svengali-like influence of rock impresario Kim Fowley, played by Michael Shannon, who turns the group into an outrageous success and a family of misfits. With its tough-chick image and raw talent, the band quickly earns a name for itself—and so do its two leads: Joan is the bands pure rock n roll heart, while Cherie, with her Bowie-Bardot looks, is the sex kitten. Written and directed by Floria Sigismondi, the film chronicles Joan and Cheries tumultuous relationship on and off stage, as the band starts to break out.

The Runaways will be released in theaters on March 19, 2010! The Runaways stars Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Michael Shannon.

@tylenol2k7 Doesnt Kristen Stewart looks like Joan jett ? , isnt Dakota Fanning the only one who can sing like the real Cherie Currie ( proven by the shitty cover of " cherry bomb " by Miley Cyrus " ) ? i dont mean to look down on Michael Shannon acting skills , he was truly incredible on this movie , and hardly anyone notices it . But to me , the most important actor in this movie was Kristen , her surprising true talent of acting , and i feel uncomfortable if others doesnt acknowledge it .
