  • Fantastic! Thanks for the lesson.

    Question: If we took the structure of the D Major scale and built a pentatonic scale wouldn't we get D,E,F#,A,B? I believe you said, "D,E,G,A,C". at 15:13

  • @br1an419 Ughhh...yes I made a mistake! I ment to say F#. I didn't notice I said that until you pointed it out... Thanks for letting me know.

  • Andrew, have you ever thought about the possibility of creating a few lessons or tips for playing the piano for people with visual problems?

    That would help me a lot. I have double vision and it would help me so much if I didn't have to look at the keys at all. If I close my eyes, I get dizzy and really off time.

  • @criss1956 Sorry, but I don't know how I would go about making such a lesson...

    your right that there is a F# in the D maj pentatonic , but at the time he said starting on any other note

    within the C maj pentatonic scale ( D ) it will still sound good (in other words a mode ) which just means start on a different note of the same scale which was C maj pentatonic .

    then he talked about the D maj to just drop the 4th and 7th degree's in the scale

    @Andrew

    i don't think you made a mistake there . Anyway great work on your vid's thx for your time and effort

  • At exactly 10:01, the video just stops. Any attempts to move it beyond fail.
