They used to sell them at RadioShack, but I'm not sure if they still have them or not.

hahah i love xmods i have 4 of em. but those seem to go way faster than mine i have stage 3 motor i think what stage is that??

The majority of them were Stage 2 (I think). It might just be the camera making them look faster than they really are. :)

can someone explain the meaning of scale for me? what does it mean when it says 1:10, 1:24, 1:25, 1:26 on these RC cars. I'm trying to buy one for my little bro for his Christmas Present but I don't know which one is better than the other. Thanks

Scale represents the size of the car. For example, 1:1 would be the size of a real car, 1:2 would make it half the size of a real car, etc... I believe xmods are 1:28 scale, which makes them fairly small. A 1:28 car is going to be around 5" long where a 1:10 would be closer to 15".
Remember that bigger isn't always better and in the R/C world, you get what you pay for.
