  • @Humboldtnutesrock Hitler didn't design fuck all. An engineer/designer designed it under the Hitler regime. Stop giving credit where it's clearly not due.

  • hitler was merely a source of capital for VW

  • Weight and gearing won or lost the battle in this one. The MuskStank has long gears and probably tops out around 165 or so and the rabbit with vr6 engine and tranny maybe 140 or so? don't really know. just a guess.

  • video edit: your svt is a bitch

  • @bradenn let us not rewrite history now... he designed it: drew the shape himself, was a semi-accomplished artist or industrial designer if you will. A man's faults does not discount his accomplishments. Credit is due, not all but much. VW did not keep his initials on there keys till 1991 for nothing.

  • @McLarenMercedes Now why the fuck would i want to change a piston ring after only like... 8hrs of driving.... also, there is a far cry between a 40hp beetle and the Can Am porsche, (that was actually 2 H6 porsche blocks coupled together. ) not to mention they fried quite a few engine setups during testing...... The fact that porsche didnt switch to watercooled until 1998 was just stupid.....

  • @albertorosales6 ....

    Rabbit VR6 = 2000lbs

    Rustang  = 3200lbs

  • wtf man how did u lose

  • Turbo lag. Because fooling people into thinking there winning is fun.

  • @The85GTMustang

    "That's for sure."

    Bertrand Russell (famous mathematician and philosopher) once said:"What's wrong with this world is how the stupid are so sure of themselves and the smart so full of doubt." Take a hint from this great man.

    Guess what? In the Austrian alps the aircooled Beetle just kept going on hot summer days, whereas water cooled engines were sidelined to the road with boiling radiators. I saw a classic American car meeting once one hot summer, they almost all overheated

  • @bradenn

    Yes, Porsche won the 1984 Paris-Dakar desert rally using an air-cooled 911. Dakar is in Senegal, Africa and getting there means driving through a lot of the Sahara desert.

    Porsche also won 11 Targa Florio races in Sicily (which is practically as hot as a desert).

    Oh, and have you ever wondered why the Volkswagen Beetle was made so long in Mexico? Mexico is roasting hot, yet the aircooled Volkswagen endures.
