  • SO is 'Seediq Bale' to the Seediq tribes people the way to englightenment????

  • Dear blingblingzers,

In terms of the meaning of being a real man, I think you can put it that way.

By the way, to all who interested in this film and the music by Chthonic.

It's great to learn that the filming project of the Seediq Bale and new album by Chthonic are all on their way now.

    Let's cross our fingers.

  • Chthonic sings about this.

  • Indeed, Turgore! That's one of the reasons I asked the director's approval to put the trailer online. Hopefully you also enjoy Chthonic's music, which I do.

    Thanks and Happy viewing

  • One day, if the Chinese invade Taiwan, we should defend our island against these foreigner invaders too. Taiwan belongs to the Taiwanese. It's our home, not China's territory.

  • Awesome. Interesting film. I watched this video because the Taiwanese Black Metal band Chthonic did an album with this saga being the focus on the album. The album was called Seediq Bale. I just wanted to learn about this in my own language. Chthonic is a great band.

  • @Jianghuaisback4 My problem with the Chinese is they run around saying how proud they are of their culture, but they don't write in traditional Chinese, they know nothing about their own culture. Hoklo was the language spoken from Spring and Autumn period to the Song dynasty. I don't think you read Chinese so I won't bother sending you archaic Chinese texts. Let's see, it was the Chinese who sold Taiwan to Japan in 1895. Who's the Jap ass kisser now? Get your facts straight.

  • @Jianghuaisback4 Like I said, your so-called "pride" in your Chinese roots is without substance. When your knowledge of Chinese language, history, culture is better than most Chinese, then you can start bragging. Today, China is a fraud of a country, just like you. The ignorant Chinese complain how hard their language is, so they simplified it. I have less than a 5th grade education in Taiwan and my Chinese is better than most college educated people from China. How pathetic is that?

  • @raininthesouth , The only culture you have is Jap culture worship. LMAO!

  • @raininthesouth , Yes, I heard of Yuan Ming Yuan, and I am still proud of My Chinese roots. What are you? Still kissing Jap asses. LMAO!

  • @Jianghuaisback4 Let me give you an interesting fact. Ever heard of 圓明園 Yuan Ming Yuan (the Gardens of Perfect Brightness) ? Your French ancestors looted this palace and burned it to the ground in 1860. The Chinese are still trying to buy the missing treasures back from the Europeans. Why don't you take up the cause of educating the world about this act of barbarism? The Japanese helped Sun Yat-Sen overthrow the Manchu rulers. What did your white ancestors do for China?

  • @Jianghuaisback4 Ok, start typing in Chinese since you're so damn proud of your heritage. Let's see if that translates into actual knowledge or you're just a confused Eurasian trying to find your place in the world. Please, don't build your identity upon fantasy about a culture you barely know. Let's put it this way, I write in Chinese better than most people from China. That's because the Chinese have lost their culture so they need us to teach them how to be Chinese. How pathetic is that?

  • @raininthesouth , and most importantly, please remember that you, the Hoklo Hans, were on the baddie's side in this movie, you helped the Japs to oppress the tribes. So don't blab we Taiwanese this, we Taiwanese that.

  • @raininthesouth , and why do you Hoklos always try to ride the glory of others? The Aborigines' bravery is not your bravery. The Japanese occupation of Taiwan has shown that you are cowards, only the brave Seediqs sacrificed their lives to fight the Jap invaders. You folks even fought in the Imperial Japanese Army, committing atrocities in the Rape of Manila. Your dear godfather Lee Teng Hui's brother was there killing babies and raping women, before the Americans killed him.

  • @raininthesouth , Yes, I am mixed heritage, but I am damn proud of my Chinese roots, unlike you, LOL! Regardless of whether of whether 80 percent of Taiwan's population is mixed heritage or not, it is well proven fact that you Hoklos oppressed the aborigines. You are the ones who took their land and drove them up he mountains. Why do you think the majority of them are pro-KMT??? How much do I know know about China, much more than you do,
