Our awning collapsed in a storm, in our absence a few years ago. I'm delighted to say that noone took pictures, they just sorted it out for us!

I saw this happening once, only I went and strapped down the awning until the people got back from their day out and I didn't film it.

boring

Thank you all for your comments...do like these with some being very articulate..would say as it does in the write-up "Short video, just could not watch anymore and went to try and peg the awning down, and let the owners know."........but even we was surprised that the people next to the van, who you can see in the video did not help at all, even when we was trying to.....but please do keep your comments coming.

However was filming is a complete prick, i hate people that watch rather than help. TOSSER!
-
what a wanker to film it instead of helping
-
I wish I had been there when the anorak was filming that poor buggers awning, then I could have helped him film the inside of his back passage!

@caravansTV Exactly!! Well said.
If you was a true caravanner then you would of helped the guy out instead of filming it like a lazy twat!!!

Although this video highlights the problems associated with using the wrong type of awning pegs or adequate tie down straps, the most disturbing thing is no one could be bothered to help.
If I was filming, I would not have continiued filiming when i could have just as easily had gone over to help in some way, as i would like to think that someone would do the same for me. Obviously this cameraman thought getting the footage was more important !
