After you get the rope over the branch, what do you do with it? Do you have two ends of the rope hanging down to the swing? looks like one rope going down to the swing. Where did you tie off the rope?

What is that thing your swinging him over in the grass mid swing, look's like he could get really hurt bad if that rope failed right there on the back swing ya know Looks like a lot of fun though God bless you and Liam. I would cover what ever that is with something FYI

That looks so much fun! I'm going to bug my husband to make one for us. :) thanks!
So fun! How did you attach the four ropes of the swing to the rope hanging from the tree?

The bucket seat ropes end in two hooks that connect to a swing set .I put the rope hooks into a big knot at the end of the tree rope .

do you have any suggestions for making a rope swing on a 3ft by 2 ft concrete bridge girder?

My swing rope can be untied and extra rope added to one side .I lower down the old middle and examine for frays .Youve seen the thriller movies when the rope breaks .Avoid that .

I would recommend tying a loop not a hangman's noose .You will never be able to climb to untie it so you have to rely on two ropes like a U shape over the girder .

How did you prevent slip friction? Did you tie a knot tight up against the limb? Thanks.

My branch is horizontal if yours is at an angle ,may need to knot it . It will be several years before it dies and weakens .
