I'm just an old redneck at heart and when I need to do something I'll make what I have work. Ya, I grew up watching MacGyver, lol. Nonetheless, this setup was used to rebuild and flow test my 36lb injectors used on the 88 supercharged mustang seen here and on watkinsmotorsports.com

  • Nice homemade system

Just on a quick question what voltage did you use for the injectors to pulse?

Also i assume it was switched using the toothbrush to a switch to get them to fire would have been nice to see a bit more of the switch controll

  • Thanks for the comments. I used a store bought Injector Pulse Generator made by OTC. It allows you to set different pulse counts over different periods of time (milliseconds).

From my research I'm sure you could use a 9v battery and switched it on off.

Also check out my website Watkinsmotorsports you'll find some more details about this setup under fuel injection.
