N-scale Layout Update #1

If you want to see a great model railroad ... well ... check out my friend's videos. But if you want to see a simple N-scale model railroad grow from "Day 1", you've come to the right place. Although I'm more familiar with HO-scale model railroading, I decided to expand my knowledge by learning an additional scale--it's been like learning a foreign language, but in my case, more fun! In this series of videos, you see layout construction, track planning, wiring, scenery & paper buildings, and we'll do some model railfanning. As with all things, I'm dealing with these constraints: 1) Money. Since I'm not rolling in dough, some things will be done "on the cheap"; 2) Real estate. I'm using a small corner in a spare bedroom (Biddy's room), 13 inches off the floor; 3) Time. My workdays are long, so there may be long stretches between updates; 4) I've never made an update before! Most of all, thanks for watching!
