what about crhis carter he got snubbed again? that sucks to me he the best hands that have ever caught a pass in nfl history. Mind you i said hands not receiver, but if i was building a team i would pick carter over rice but thats just me. But carter getting snubbed yet again im starting to think that the people who induct a player are biased against chris carter.

No doubt. I don't know anyone who'd disagree with Chris Carter getting a yellow jacket. The consensus is that he pissed off too many media members with attitude during his playing day. Let's hope time heals those wounds.

these ARE the finalists. I believe the actual inductees are announced at the superbowl and are inducted during the pre-season hall of fame game at the beginning of the 2012 season in august/sept.

I would be surprised if tim brown wasn't inducted. He's one of the great modern raiders and one of the last great and thrilling notre dame skill players. Also a hugely popular player in LA and in the Raiders organization

who's troy vincent? what you serious? troy vincent was the man quarterbacks hated throwin his direction cmon bro. Him and bobby taylor and dawkins were the most respected db combo in the early and mid 2000s even late 90s

I can't argue with that, and most think Rod's deserving. I just think there has to be something special about an NFL HOFer. The sort of thing that you shouldn't have to look up stats or do comparisons. Rod Smith just doesn't excite like others, but I won't be surprised or disappointed if he gets in.
