Wow! The scenery is definitely all the same, but the freeways have undergone quite a dramatic expansion, since then. The 55 looked rather narrow, back in those days. I didn't even see the 55 freeway for the first time until 2001. Cool footage, thanks for uploading.

Thanks so much!

The 91 Expresslanes weren't even completed yet, wow!

at 1:53 is where the 241 ends now.

It was very different back then. No carpool lane in the 91 in the city of Riverside and on the Cleveland National Forest Chino Hills area, the 71 I think was a highway in Chino Hills and it was being made into a freeway, the 60 was expressway in Moreno Valley.

I have another question near the end of the time lapse drive, I see two lanes completely stalled, I especially noticed how the blue car was going pretty fast and then is completely stopped, which I found a bit hilarious at 4:09, what happened?

I took a look frame by frame. That is at the climb for the Box Springs grade, and a car jumped into the middle lane in front of the blue pickup to go around a slow truck.

Please tell me what the name of this song is called, it really goes well with Southern California scenery and roadtrips. Please respond! Very much enjoyed the video!
