@megC1983 Actually the number of factorials for a nine digit number is 1,000,000,000... so if there's 350 million people now and roughly 4,130,665 births a year (2009 data), plus the average 1,000,000 LEGAL immigrants each year, it would take 194 years to exhaust every possible ss #... and since ss started in 1935, that means we still have 117 years to go before we start recycling numbers. These people are batshit crazy! SS numbers are recycled, hello! Think about it, there are only 9 digits (XXX-XX-XXXX). With there currently being 300 million citizens, obviously the numbers have to be reused. Also, the system is not perfect. They have recently tried to implement numbers based on location, etc, but there are exceptions. Most people know this!!!
