I agree with you statement 100% I am a two spirit and partly Native American. I feel that my DNA calls me to learn my culture and tongue that was stolen. I also agree the body and spirit are two different things and it is very true that someone with no Native blood can have the spirit of a Native American. I feel this is something to celebrate. We happen to live in a land where natives could turn a blind eye to the outside of a person and solely see their spirit as them

Very true! Your spirit determines who you are much more than the way you look on the outside. Everyone must be free! Those that cannot be free live in anguish and hurt others! We have to allow all beauty in our hearts and reject those who wish to enslave others spirits. I hope this movie shines light on the truth of what two spirits have had to go through since European conquest on this land. They stole the land and enslaved the spirits of humans that had so much to offer!

Two Spirit is an Indigenous, Native American identity. You appear to be of European descent. Native Americans deserve and desire that their spiritual and cultural beliefs, identities and practices be respected and not appropriated. This appearance of cultural appropriation- to me weakens your film and prevents it from being an original artistic statement. The whole country was stolen from Indigenous peoples. Is it too much to ask, that the descendants of the thieves cease from stealing now?

@Jujyreign In Native American (or "Indian" as the settlers called them when they came) culture, a long time ago, two spirited people were people who were believed to have two spirits. One female and one male. They were respected and honored for this as it was considered a gift from the Creator. These people were shamans, seers, healers, etc and highly revered by their people. You should check out the documentary about Fred Martinez ("Two Spirits"), I've heard it is amazing.

What makes a person beautiful is how balanced they live their life. One of the things that conquest brought to America was spiritual slavery. They cut across this land with the bible in one hand the sword in the other and greed on their mind. If they were real Christians they would not have killed so many. They used the bible to steal the spirits of the natives and cage them. The far right has also used the bible and fear to make us submit to their greed. Many humans live in hell here on earth!
