  • Just running on my desire:)

  • looks near unusable to me

  • @nickbouwhuis Oxygen (A very minimalistic AOSP custom ROM) is also attempting getting ICS on the Desire. They say it should run smooth without any mayor problems, so let's just wait till "professional" ROM bakers get it to work. ;)

  • Laggy as f***

  • @Kopsu76 I don't know if we will get one day an open source driver from qualcomm but there's already a hack for hardware acceleration (some libs from older versions of gingerbread which are workind under ICS). Anyway, some guys on XDA are trying to enable it from the source, it seems smooth and promising :)

  • @TheDavid5095 Yeah, never looked Nexus S specs. So that slowness seems to be a driver problem.. Do you know is there any chance that we get open sourced hardware accelerated drivers that work with ICS on desire?

For sure our old Desires still Rock! :-)

  • @Kopsu76 Desire has more RAM than the Nexus S. This ROM also lack Hardware Acceleration, that's why it seems slow.

    Our old Desires still Rocks.

  • Seems that old desire's hardware is bit slow for that or maybe there is too little ram for ICS.

I wouldn't use that yet. Oxygen ROM (gingerbread) is really snappy and fast.

  • what song did you use in this video?

  • nice...can't wait to have a stable ics build on my desire. thanks for the video.
