  • Hi Kangadillo! I was formerly using a friend's account, elviskingofmusic. But, now I have my own, "Valeysgirl." I am sure you know the significance of my user name, lol! I am now and always will be Valey's girl! :-)

  • @valeysgirl Hi, Valeysgirl! When I first saw your name I thought of "Valley Girl," but now I see what you mean -- that's very clever!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. He had the most beautiful eyes. Certainly not his only exquisite feature, but definitely one of them. I love the way he expressed his feelings in The Sheik and Son of the Sheik simply through his gorgeous, sexy, expressive eyes. As Gloria Swanson's (one of the lucky people to have known Rudy personally), character, Norma Desmond, said in Sunset Boulevard, "we didn't need dialogue, we had faces." How true!

  • @elviskingofmusic I'm so glad you like it, thank you. And I agree, in those days they sure did have faces. And so much charisma and magic. No one today has that.

  • How could any woman resist him after looking into those beautiful, magnetic, soulful eyes?

  • Rudy was and is the ultimate sex symbol. In death, as he was in life, a sweet, gentle, intelligent, sensual, loving presence. Forever young...

  • He is so beautiful. I have the feeling he is a beautiful soul, too.

  • Yes, he drives me wild. 85 years after his death, I am madly in love with him. I had, of course, known of him all my life. But, recently, I happened to have been playing on You Tube and it lead me to a clip of, "The Sheik." I then watched the full version of it right away. Then "Son of the Sheik." In the latter, you can see in his eyes that, although he is angry with Yasmin, he still loves her. Sigh! What can I say? I am hooked!

  • @Miauriceful

I believe he has never worn glasses, none of those who knew him never spoke of it.

I read last week that an Italian director is shooting a short fil Valentino in Venice, when he was in the city to enter the academy.

The story tells the encounter between the young Rodolfo and a beautiful English widow of a Venetian Count.

I think it isn't a real story and otherwise will be hard to see the film in theaters, but is a nice thing that a young director make Valentino his inspiration.

  • @Miauriceful "Too kind constitution?" I love that! That is very moving. Isn't that something -- if he had just been a little physically different, he would have gone into the navy, and the history of cinema would have been completely different (but not in a good way).

  • @JRudyLove That would be just fine, and thank you!
