A short comparison of Cornish and Breton Dance. First, Cornish, then Breton. If anyone out there can help me with their respective titles, I'd be grateful. This was a small part of Aberfest 2010, a celebration of shared cultural heritage between the people of Cornwall and Brittany. There were a wide selection of events both formal and informal.

  • yes I'm afraid so. It sort of snuck into the Turkey Rhubarb Band repetoire! What a shame because there was real Cornish Dance and music being done at Aberfest, and the Breton dance was definitely genuine.

  • @AlexandraMaryTaylor thats interesting does that also mean the tune isnt Cornish?

  • The first dance is not a Cornish Dance - it's a Tarantella - nothing to do with Cornwall!
