  • Soooooo many empty seats... How sad!!! Keep up the good work! :)

  • Lots of energy at the end! Loved it!

The echo at 6:23 was pretty scary too haha

  • This is so great!! Where are you conducting now? You get so much energy from the ensemble, very good chemistry and you do such a nice job bringing out all the intricacies of this complicated piece!

And I have to say, this ensemble totally plays their butts off all the way through (sick T-bones!) U of I...wow, great orch.

  • The last section is the most powerful piece of music I have heard. I get chills every time

  • I've heard at least 5 other versions of this piece and this movement. most conductors ruin the part from 5;00 until the end of this movement by rushing the tempo to the point where the music is reduced to little more than styless frenzy--almost as if they're in a hurry to get it over with.

But this guy does an excellent job on this section, not just with tempo and style, but with transitions and build-up to the final climax.

  • This part of The Miraculous Mandarin is very hard for the Conductor, but he seems to enjoy the challenge! A few times i see him smile as though he nailed a perfect 10 and from the looks of it he did!
