I love MLP old and new. When people say they hate the FIM version are just as bad as people saying they hate the G1 ponies. Can't we all get along? I love change, whether its with MLP or anything! Characters change, stuff changes all the time, it can't be the same ALL the time! lol ^_^

You have a very good point there, thinking about it. But usually the characters that do reoccur in later series' are still the same gender and occasionally color. I personally wouldn't mind the new series as much if it had at least kept one of those two for Lickity.

I can't believer what Friendship is Magic did to Spike.... it's awkward because that's what I watched first being only 14 and a boy...

Well, in my opinion, the're only similar in the aspect that they're both My Little Pony, and a few characters (I.E. Spike) reoccur, but that's just about it... I also have the feeling that this one was a little more trippy due to it's 80's style comedy and so much danger and evil.
