Mine is Sean Penn also.

I must admit I'm completely lost in this one... but I guess it'll probably be Sean Penn or Mickey Rourke, as you've said...

Well, we all knew it's gonna be either Mickey or Sean.

Francis could not suppress his fanboyism. These were his personal choices and not predictions, though I guess he *really* wanted them to win. I mean, yeah, people were predicting Rourke, but Tomei? Cruz's victory was a foregone conclusion until Winslet began winning at the major awards for what was later considered a leading performance. Viola Davis was the spoiler. Tomei, along with Adams and Henson, was just there.

To be quite honest with you, I don't think either Sean Penn or Mickey Rourke are winning, these kind of tight races always end with an upset.
there's no Best Leading Actress predictions?

Valapaca, they're combined in with the Best Picture Predictions video. For some reasons they resulted in less of a discussion. But they are there. BTW, this year for the first time in a lifetime of predicting the Oscars and the Tonys, I got all my predictions right!

Oh my God, I do not agree with Francis in absolutely anything.

I agreed with Francis in Best Picture and also Best Supporting Actor. You should check out those videofiles, too! And he may very well be absolutely right about Mickey Rourke. On Oscar night, we shall see. Mickey's two big awards were both voted to him by foreigners, FYI. The Golden Globes which is the Hollywood FOREIGN Press and the BAFTAs which are the British version of the Oscars. Last year they MATCHED Oscar in all the acting categories!

To continue, we'll see what happens when an AMERICAN voting body has to choose between Mickey & Sean Penn. I almost wish there was a tie! Then everybody would be happy. Barbra Streisand tied with Katharine Hepburn. Both got Oscars. Babs for "Funny Girl" and Kate for "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." That was a long time ago, but it still could happen.
