I really appreciate your advice. I have been running for over a year now. During the summer I was running over 7 miles in one hour, and as I started working on my speed (reached a minimum of 8 miles per hour for 21 minutes) I decreased the amount of time I was running to only 31 minutes. Now I found out I am pregnant. So I am trying to run for 8.2 miles per hour for at least 10 minutes, and not less than 7.5 for the remaining 10 minutes.

gracebatten-no matter what, consult your OBGYN and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Every woman is different, and what I have found in talking to all my running friends, it doesn't matter if you were running a 10 minute or 7 minute mile before you got pregnant. You can't predict how your body will respond to pregnancy so take it easy. Use your running time for MAINTAINENCE not TRAINING purposes and you will be fine...take care
