海韻 Ocean Rhyme (more-Lyrics and Translations)
Sept. 2008 performance by Austin Chinese Choir 龍吟合唱團. A song based on a poem written by the famous poet 徐志摩 (1897 - 1931) 「女郎，單身的女郎， 你為什麼留戀這
黃昏的海邊？ 女郎，回家吧，女郎！」
「啊！不回家，我不回，我愛這晚風吹。」
在沙灘上，在暮色裏，有一個散髮的女郎，徘徊、徘徊。
「女郎，散髮的女郎，你為什麼彷徨在這冷清的海上？
女郎，回家吧，女郎！」
「 啊！不，你聽我唱歌，大海，我唱，你來和。」
在星光下，在涼風裏，清盪著少女的清音，高吟、低哦。
「女郎，膽大的女郎！ 那天邊扯起了黑幕，這頃刻間要有大風波，
女郎，回家吧，女郎！」
「 啊！不，你看我凌空舞，學一個海鷗沒海波。」
在夜色裏，在沙灘上， 旋轉著一個苗條的身影，婆娑、婆娑。
「聽呀，那大海的震怒，女郎，回家吧，女郎！
看呀，那猛獸似的海波，女郎，回家吧！女郎！」
「 啊！不，海波他不來吞我，我愛這大海的顛簸！」
「 啊！海波他會來吞你，你看這大海的風波！」
在潮聲􀏌，在波光裏，啊，一個慌張的少女
在浪花的白沫裏，蹉跎、蹉跎。
「女郎，在哪裏，女郎？
哪裏是你嘹亮的歌聲？哪裏是你窈窕的身影？
在哪裡啊，勇敢的女郎？」
黑夜吞沒了星輝，這海邊再沒有光芒；
海潮吞沒了沙灘，沙灘上再不見女郎，
再不見女郎！


I: Fair maiden, why do you linger at the seaside at dusk? Go home.
"No, I shan't go home. I love the sea breeze."
II: Fair maiden, why do you pace the desolate beach? Go home!
"Oh, no. Listen to my song and join in."
The starlight and fresh breeze carries her clear melody.
III: Fair maiden, bold maiden. A black tempest is brewing! Go home!!
"Oh, no. Witness my lofty dance, learned from the seagulls."
Dim light on the sandy beach reveals her whirling silhouette.
IV: Hear the rage of the pounding waves! Go home!!!
See the fierce beast that the sea has become! Go home!!!!
"Oh, no. The sea will not swallow me. I myself am like the crashing waves."
In the surging tide and foaming waves there's a young girl who is tumbling, tumbling!
(Instrumental interlude)
V: Fair maiden, where is your clear song; your graceful silhouette?
Where are you brave maiden!?
Dark night swallows the stars. No light appears on the shore. The tide engulfs the sandy beach. Still no sign of the fair maiden.

40年前參加全國音樂比賽就是倡這首,後來斷斷續續聽到這首,但­是這團唱的讓我感觸最深,真希望時光能再倒回40年
