I was lucky enough to see them in Albuquerque but last year they absolutely floored a huge crowd of old cowboys in Taos, NM... who would have guessed they could have totally won over the crowd at a barn dance? They're the best!

Got to see Doris, Ty, Nate, and JJ live in Eugene a few months ago, and they just blew me away! Amazing show. Girlyman is simply one of my all-time favorite bands, and this is one of my all-time favorite songs. They write and sing with such purity and poetry, and while each of them is a great musician on their own, together they equal far more than just the sum of their parts. Thank You so much for adding a little more beauty to the world, Girlyman!

AWSLDAFJOS FRIDAY I'M SO EXCITED.
Also, in what pieces does Nate play the bass?

@theguythatsings Oh my God! I did not expect you to reply to my comment on this video! It is, and they're amazing. This might be my favourite song ever, but it's one of the ones I can't let myself listen to too many times. ALSO: They are touring. :)

@inbeautytornapart I get why you get them. I love them. "Even St. Peter's Bones decay" isn't that the kind of thing we always talk about?...

It might be better to keep Girlyman a bit of a secret. You can still catch them live in small venues for $25 and talk to them after the show. They do a solid 2 hour set. Yes, they deserve a wider audience but their incredible concerts are the musical bargain of the century!

One of the best songs written and sung this century! Can't decide if I like the harmonies or the lyrics better. This clip sounds every bit as good as the studio version, with maybe even more punch.
