  • hi,

    good share

want to ask, do you have maybe plans for that electric embending tiool

my father started 4 years ago with beekeeping, now he see this vid and want to make that kind of tool

    thanx

  • @vare2008 Hi, yes, for sure. I use a 12v. battery charger.I have 4 bolts tapered on the ends to form little blunt chisels.I have one wire attached to one outside bolt & the other wire attached to the switch you push down to the other outside bolt.As long as the outside bolts are pressed into the wire, the current will flow through the wire when you push down the switch. The other 2 bolts stops the wire from distorting.Release the switch as soon as the wire is melted into the wax.cheers.

  • awsome thanks for the tips and videos ! just researching right now and looking to get into it next year.

  • @wrightmachineworks Thanks for that Ryan. Great to hear from you. Good luck with it next year. take care. cheers.

  • @TheYeahNikka Yes, for sure, no worries mate.

  • @chuckarama451 I found a couple of u-tube videos where they say lemongrass oil is a good attractant to collect swarms into a box. i don't collect swarms, only my own, but it's amazing what you can learn. anyway, good luck Chuck. i hope you have a great season. keep in touch. regards jeff. ps,i'm in an internet express at a shopping centre, i can't see the timer. bye

  • @chuckarama451 Thank you Chuck, yes, same here. i found that vid. on your favorites. i saw that on tv a while back, i picked up a few points i missed the first time. i'm like you, i read as much as i can about bees, especially when i first started. but i'm picking up new things all the time. i found the bees don't like freshly scorched boxes, must be the fire smell, so i'm scrubbing them first & even considering rubbing freshly picked lemongrass into the wood....................................
