"Un homme qui dort aka The man who sleeps is a notable Second-person narrative film. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Georges Perec. It is co-directed by Bernard Queysanne and won the Prix Jean Vigo in 1974.
The story deals with a young student (Jacques Speisser) and his alienation as he wanders the streets of Paris. His inner musings are narrated in the form of an unwritten diary by Ludmila Mikael. The hero remains silent throughout the film."
