A quick look at the new GPS Picture Tracker from ATP.
This smart little device allows you to add geotags - latitude and longitude - to images from your digital camera without the need for extra software, or even a pc.
Simply pop your SD card into the built in memory card slot and the Photofinder will add the tags automatically.
You can then upload these images to Picasa and see them on a map, or on Google Earth.
Great tool for helping to you remember where you took those photos, and I guess essential if you're a surveyor, estate agent or builder.

  • Thanks for introducing the product. It seems to be a fine device. Yet currently I am using i-gotU to geotag my photos and I am quite satisfied to see the playback of my trip in mht(Internet Explorer) or kmz(Google Earth. It can upload photo to Picasa or Flickr. Not bad! Perhaps you could check it out as well and do a professional review in english? I found one intro on Youtube but in Dutch.

  • I used it for 3 months and I felt it's a very useful tool for Geotagging application.

I have the SONY GPS-CS1, it's the first geotagging device on the market, but it's too stupid. Why ?

  • Video no longer available? Why?

  • geotate has a better product look at the video

  • maybe not in a bag but yeh

somewhere it can get a good signal

  • hmm

you could pop this on somones bag or something if you wonder where they go by day.

snap a photo once an hour or so and when they return you will have a complete log of their daily travels.

    i like it

  • problem is auto shut down when not receiving gps signal for some time. also weak battery compartment.

  • Where can I buy one ?
