Like the Japanese and Chinese big business buying up all the land? I understand they own all of Hawaii now. Are there any pure Hawaiians left, or have the all been haoled? It sucks that the Hawaiian culture is decaying. Just like what happened to Native American culture. It disappeared because the pilgrims tried to perish them with guns and deceases. And this video doesn't really explain the Hawaiian culture and how Hawaiians used to make Hawaii more peaceful. It mostly explains the beauty of Hawaii and the tourism :P

@boricuamovement I have learned much language &history& still, if I were to try & go to Maui to spread my grandmother's ashes on her homeland, there would be people like you telling me I am a haole, & how i don't deserve to be there. I find that to be very sad. The racism. Even if it were one drop of blood flowing through me that were Hawaiian, I would still be Hawaiian. Because of my love for the land, the people, the hula, the history, the language and the culture. not for the color of my skin

@boricuamovement I am 1/4 Hawaiian.My grandmother lived in Hawaii before it was annexed.When it did become a state she moved to the mainland looking for a better life.She ended up marrying an Irishman. She taught my mother all about Hawaiian culture&traditions&my mother passed that to me.I hula,first learning from my mother who had learned from my grandmother,then from a Halau.

@GuamKomudo i feel you on that. but if you wana see hawai'i then just hit up country side bra. stay away from the city life in hawai'i and live country life. its similar to life in guam bra no lies. the next chance you get to go to another island take it. i would definitely take up oportunities to go to tahiti, fiji, tonga, samoa, new zealand, guam, saipan, i wana see all of the nesian islands

Just because you're not BORN there doesn't mean you don't belong there. I'm probably in love with my Chamorro culture and more proud to be Chamorro than alot of people that actually live there... And I will live there, I want to go to the University of Guam to learn Chamorro language and ancient seafaring techniques. I would like to go to Hawai'i one day too, and Samoa, and all the awesome islands! But I don't wanna see commercial Hawai'i, I wanna see HAWAI'I =)
