Mrs. Proctor, one of the longest tenured and most devoted parishioners of Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Philadelphia, PA, is shown just weeks after suffering a stroke in her home. Mrs. Proctor, who had never in her entire life so much as taken an aspirin or visited a doctor, was suddenly overcome with numbness on her right side secondary to a stroke at the end of July 2009. Fortunately for her, she is left handed.
With the prayers and well wishes of her fellow parishioners she has been able to make a speedy, near miraculous recovery and on Sunday 8/9/09 attended church at Our Mother of Sorrows for the first time since the stroke episode.
In this video she is shown being visited at the home of her caretaker and fellow parishioner, Veda, by fellow parishioners, Mrs. Jean Reed and Active Legion of Mary Member, Leland Tiger Hardy.
May God Bless her soul and please feel free to post well wishes to this video.
