  • Thank you.

  • Sorry Econ, I hate to disagree with you here, but that strip mall at 4:30 is just more cheap slab construction with cinder block block walls covered in cheap stuco and a little decrative stone wall coverings. Nothing special there. Probably the only thing worth any money at is wiring and electrical service. Building products makers jacked the hell out of the price and gouged the builders X20 fold on that stuff. Hence another reason why it ain't worth squat to the people who know better.

Im a turkey tech grad. Yeah there are some ghetto parts of turlock, and turlock has always had a huge drug problem even in the 90's. But I think Modesto overall is much worse, and has much higher percent of minorities and gangs.

  • @EconCat88 ulmerton and starkey lol I was just there the other day, thought it looked familiar!!

  • @mrmilleniumproof

Although Ive lived in this area since 92 I don't frequent modesto enough over the years to do a time comparison. Its turlock mainly the place Ive been going to over the last 12 years. And I can tell you turlock has never looked so good and so booming. Everything is all gravy in turlock. The few times I headed over to modesto it seemed like they were holding up pretty well too (I mean modesto is high crime but im just talking about compared to previously

  • @EconCat88

Actually the bad economies has hit the stripper and whore market. I know cause Im in tune with that industry a bit. :P

  • @mrmilleniumproof

Yeah exactly. Im in your area and things look booming, especially in turlock. Turlock is all gravy feels like 2005!
