Toradex shows a new pin compatible Colibri module based on Marvell's PXA320 ARM CPU (Code name Monahans). First the Colibri PXA 270 Module is installed into the evaluation board and the cpu load is measured while a Matrix trailer is played with TCPMP. Then 270 module is replaced by the new Colibri PXA320 module. The CPU load measurement under the same conditions shows a speed gain of about 100%.

  • Nice comparison. Wonder how an i.MX31 stacks up?

  • Cool video. Very impressed with PXA320...

  • Awesome! It's the first performance comparison I've seen on the new XScale PXA320 processor by Marvell. Judging from the video, it looks like the PXA320 processor will be even more successful on the market than its predecessor from Intel, the PXA270.
