About CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE - THE MUSICAL...

~Cast members are creating the play by interviewing & portraying brilliant and charismatic people who can lead us through our current broken, corrupt system and into a healthy, sustainable new world.

~Cast members will participate in acts of civil disobedience. (To be reenacted in some form on stage.)

~Cast members will create original music for the play.

~Cast members will tour the play through Monte Rio, Marin, Sebastopol and Santa Rosa.

~Cast members will change the world.

(A movie will be made, aired on local stations, and submitted to film festivals.)

PRODUCTION DETAILS

* Workshop Phase
Sept 21 - Nov 30 / WEDNESDAYS - 4:30 to 6:30pm
(*Nov 23rd OFF for Thanksgiving)
During this phase the cast conducts interviews, participates in acts of civil disobedience, creates the play, and plays theatre games that strengthen their ability to portray their subjects with honesty, depth, and integrity.

* December OFF for the winter holidays.

* Rehearsal Phase
Jan 4 - Jan 27 / MON-FRI - 4:00 to 8:00
Not every actor will be called for every rehearsal or for the whole time of each rehearsal.

* Performance Phase
Feb 3 - Feb 26 / Fri & Sat @ 8pm / Sun @ 3pm
Cast members will tour the play through Monte Rio, Marin, Sebastopol and Santa Rosa.
