@prinsenafprinsesseg I don't want' to discuss but i listen to electronic music and i'm sick of the lame ass boring repetitive kick drum so called music that emerged from about 1992-3 and all of that rave movement which produced a plethora of non-inventive DJ's playing techno/house/trance. Thanks to god for some years now this music is dead and what the youngster's call "retro" is back. There are a lot of great new electronic artists that play a combo of old and new production music now.

Except these are now going for SX-240 prices and SX-240s are going for VA prices. Bloody collectors ruin everything. And eBay is not helping in any way what so ever to keep prices down to normal and sane. That's why everything worth having is twice as dear as it was last year. Pretty soon only Bill Gates will be able to buy an Andromeda or a 2600.

This doesn't suck, it's great, the music back then was nice and fun, what sucks are today "DJ's" that play that awful bullshit party house and trance music.

Thanks, but I don't buy into the notion that music was better back in the day. Shit DJ's have always been (and will always be) playing shit music. Good DJ's tend to play good music - they did so in the past and they do today. Nostalgic exaltation and glorification of some undefined past is something that's wise to try to steer clear of. As far as partyhouse and trance goes, even those genres surely have their share of masterpieces for open minds/ears to discover and enjoy.

The sound is thin (only one VCO, and a bit weak filter...) ...but the weird multiple modulations (somewhat uncommon in synths like this!) are lot of fun!
