Nice video. I'm currently trying to decide if I want the Yaesu 897D or spend more and get the Icom IC-7000.
I'm kinda leaning towards the Icom radio at the moment.
Also, don't let those Mac haters get to you. Use whatever feels right. Both Macs and PC's serve a purpose.

what connections do u have with the Mac. Ic 7k has what a usb? or a din 9?

Agreed, I just wish more HAM software was available for the Mac. I have Windows on the Mac as well. Last resort is booting into Windows, but I do break down and do it occasionally.

Those are fighting words! JK Macs are not the best solution for ham radio, but I do lots of graphic/photography work so that's all I use. I'm a big time Windows hater!
