Long Beach Island Causeway Shack

I could not find any videos of the famous (soon to be gone) Long Beach Island Causeway Shack. This old gunning shack is a landmark for all of the visitors to LBI. It is slowly deteriorating, being taken back to the bay by storm and tides. This was taken during the early November 2009 Nor'easter, the tides came in high. You can see that some good Samaritans have tried to shore up the interior walls with some lumber. One day it will fall, I'll try to video its demise for all of those "Shack" fans.

does anyone know if the shack is still standing? I haven't been down for 3 years now, but I am going down in July and I hope to see it. I have memories of seeing it every year when I was little.

lol when i go past this on the bridge going into the island i always see this and every year it looks a little bit more damaged i bet its gone by now because all the snow brings it down a little
