This is a very under-rated movie - a 10 out of 10 and my favorite movie of all time - I've watched it 25 or 30 times. Hit me very personally as my own dad was absent my whole life. This is all about the r's - restoration, repentance ("If you'd just gone the other way"), reconciliation, redemption. Saw this in the theater and now own several copies of the DVD. BTW, the dancing sequence in the kitchen is THE most wholesome love scene.
